Zǔb̪vy Ja̋zr Kēä (/jǽdzɒ̄/ /ʤɑ̋zɜː/ [alone] [arc lamp]) is a subtropical Town located in the Fǎshfoīy Region of the Confederation of Goblin Tribes.

The name Zǔb̪vy Ja̋zr Kēä is derived from the Goblin language, as Zǔb̪vy Ja̋zr Kēä was founded by Ermboīsh Cûf̄̋ch 'Alyssa Dee' Jōki̋ch Ya̋nvér Vúōki̋ch Yä̂fér Vú̄sh, who was culturaly Goblin.

Overview

Zǔb̪vy Ja̋zr Kēä was founded durring the early 17th century in early winter of the year 1617, by Ermboīsh Cûf̄̋ch 'Alyssa Dee' Jōki̋ch Ya̋nvér Vúōki̋ch Yä̂fér Vú̄sh. The establishment of Zǔb̪vy Ja̋zr Kēä was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Ermboīsh Cûf̄̋ch 'Alyssa Dee' Jōki̋ch Ya̋nvér Vúōki̋ch Yä̂fér Vú̄sh electing to pay people to resettle in Zǔb̪vy Ja̋zr Kēä.

Zǔb̪vy Ja̋zr Kēä was built using the conventions of Goblin durring the early 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Zǔb̪vy Ja̋zr Kēä is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Zǔb̪vy Ja̋zr Kēä is is constructed arround a semi-circular crampt paverstone mainstreet, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town is the proud owner of a thick set of fortified walls fashioned from querried stone blocks. While not up to snuff for a fort or castle wall, the town's walls are naturaly much larger than those of forts or castles. Therefore, the construction such a wall is most expencive. Zǔb̪vy Ja̋zr Kēä's buget focused wall would serve its community well in battle in spite of looking unimpressive compared to castles and fortresses. The top tier civilian fortifications have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.

A quick look in any direction shows Zǔb̪vy Ja̋zr Kēä is filled with vices. There are many taverns, brothels are advertising their services on the streets, cardsharks are plying their illicit trade within public squairs, and every shop has at least three signs advertising various sales on goods. That alone wouldn’t be too noticeable, if it wasn’t just so omnipresent and overwhelmingly how the people of this town live.

Civic Infrastructure

Zǔb̪vy Ja̋zr Kēä has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Zǔb̪vy Ja̋zr Kēä. Zǔb̪vy Ja̋zr Kēä's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known primarily for its use of abstraction and simplicity. Clean lines, right angles, and primary colors characterized this aesthetic and art movement expressed via architecture and paintings. Its design ethos allows only primary colors and non-colors, only squares and rectangles, only straight and horizontal or vertical lines. Vertical and horizontal lines are positioned in layers or planes that do not intersect, thereby allowing each element to exist independently and unobstructed by other elements.
